A program designed specifically to suit the needs of your workplace
Free consultation:
Anne will meet with you, free of charge, at your convenience, to discuss your staff’s English language needs and your specific goals. She will then design a program to match the needs of your workplace.
Format tailored to suit:
After talking with Anne, you decide the optimum length and content of your program, whether a one-off seminar, a series of small-group workshops or an ongoing support arrangement for key staff.
Workshops may include identifying common grammatical and pronunciation errors, written exercises, role plays, video and audio materials, written reference materials and feedback on common errors in written and spoken English.
Industry-specific content:
The style of client interface, high-frequency vocabulary used, and the style and content of writing all vary from industry to industry. Anne devotes her own time to familiarising herself with specialist technical terms in the process of designing a program tailored to your industry and to your workplace.
Workshops and seminars will cover the English language areas your staff most need. Topics other corporate clients have found useful include:
- useful phrases for internal emails and for communications with clients
- common pronunciation errors
- appropriate ‘small talk’ for customer service roles and other client interface
- common grammatical errors in written communications
- phrases and strategies for negotiating, whether with colleagues or clients, e.g. how to say ‘no’ and still keep the relationship strong
- preparing and giving presentations
- etiquette for business meetings.
Ongoing support arrangement:
Anne offers various ongoing support arrangements. With her background as a corporate lawyer working with multinational clients, Anne understands confidentiality. Your key staff may be given access to Anne’s online support as and when they need it. Or you may ask her to proofread critical communications before sending, or to provide one-to-one coaching for that vital presentation to head office.
These services can be charged at an hourly rate and invoiced at the end of each month. There is no need to commit to a specified number of hours ahead of time.
Not sure? Why not meet with Anne before you decide. Find out whether she can add value now or in the future.
